In the car
I did these drawings once again a couple of times I was waiting for my daughter. They're from when I used to wait in the car, and I only had one hour (lately I wait inside the ballet academy and I have two hours).
As someone with experience in the perceptive department would have already noticed, lately I don't have much time. Between the translations (that I haven't had many during the year), and the year end activities, painting is being a bit consigned to oblivion, and I'm missing it so much!!!

Has conseguido dibujar el volante perfectamente. By the way, yo sigo tus traduciones de los post al Inglés y tambien aprendo.
Saludos y consigue tiempo.

Hi Carolina! Lovely little sketches, that steering wheel is so nicely round - you have a very steady hand! Just spent ages reading all those Spanish comments, trying to translate them. I did Spanish to senior level at school (way back!). Lovely language and this is very good practice for me! :)

Hi Carolina! You're probably the ONLY person I know that sketches so much and often! AND WELL! I can't draw/sketch well at all, that's why I paint! Suggestion - move the mirror to show yourself then you can sketch yourself sketching yourself - or something like that! GOOD JOB on both.

Later,
Ken B.

Hello Carolina,
Seems to be a theme going on here, the inside of my car. I appreciate the little hour here, hour there, so why not have a theme, and when it all gets together it will look great.
Start a new book just for "your hour of drawing". Go on do it, your new class!
Are you drawing with biro, great detail and nice textures in your little images.

¡Hola Antonio!
Muchas gracias nuevamente y muchos saludos

Hi Janet!
Thanks a lot for being so kind :) I appreciate your words...
I'm so glad this little corner has been useful for you in the languages department :) I am improving a lot my English (yes I know, it doesn't really show, hehe, but at least I think I am :) since I'm diving in the blog world, especially the comments section. That's where I feel I learn more of the normal/informal way of speaking/writing...
Thanks so much again,
Carolina

Hi Ken!
Thanks for stopping by, my friend :) I try to sketch as often as possible (when out) because I'm not finding time at home to paint (am I being repetitive?) I'll try to follow your advise some day, when I feel comfortable drawing my face again... and, as I'm not getting any younger, maybe it's gonna take some time ;)
Thanks a lot again and best regards,
Carolina

Hi Milly!
Thanks so much for commenting :)
It does look as a theme going on, doesn't it? It wasn't on purpose, though. That's all I had at hand to draw (other days I had my knee, the alcohol bottle...).
I think you've given me a great piece of advise about having the 'one hour' sketch book or so..., it would be nice to look at it when finished, some sort of diary.
(((I'm not exactly loving the mail lately... I'm so impatient now grrrr)))
Best regards,
Carolina

Carolina,
I hope you find a lovely sketchbook, make it your time and draw. Not just any old notebook..value that hour and your drawings.
I didn't want to sound rude, but I can see what is happening. It is good advice, choose a good theme that interests you, should be nature for a biologist!
Promise me you will(or the postman might not bring you a nice letter). Now you know how the kids feel waiting.
Have a great weekend. millyx

Oh, Milly, you are so sweet... I think I'd give that same advise if I'd seen someone in my position... thank you for caring :)

Muchos saludos,
Carolina
