Otro caracol en formato ACEO

Caracola en blanco y negro I - Black & White Seashell I
Tarjeta/ACEO aprox. 6.4 cm x 9 cm (2.5" x 3.5")

...
Continuing with the seashell theme that I started a few days ago with another ACEO, and also in order to overcome the embarassment of the previous post (hehe), I'll post this little drawing that I finished a couple of days ago.

This is lovely. I really like seeing the geometry in nature, and you did a beautiful job with this.

Hi Ann!
Thank you so much for your comment :) I also like the geometry thing in sea shells, it's all mathematically perfect, but the ocasional imperfections make them even more interesting...
Best regards :)

Hola Carolina! You've been paying attention in your class and (probably) doing your homework. :-) Sorry that I've been out of circulation, I'm moving all of my art "stuff" from the house into my studio. It's like moving a house! See you later.

Hola Ken!
I've been such a good student :)
You've been missed, a lot! But I'm happy for your studio almost finished and almost ready to work in... I'm eager to see pictures of it soon!
See you :)

I love your graceful little caracol... very nice!

And in answer to question you left on my blog last month (sorry, I am so behind!); yes, Zip Lock bags are great for transporting smaller paintings. Someone said they come in sizes up to 2 gallons but I have not seen them myself.

Your seashells are beautiful...this one reminds me of a Georgia O'Keefe. : ) Thanks for stopping by my Moleskine blog...I guess we call need encouragement, and now I am inspired to perhaps attempt more seashells. Thanks. : )

Carolina, beautiful work. It must be difficult to work so small. I bought some of those aceo cards, but don't have a clue what to do with them yet.

Thank you, also for stopping by and commenting on my artwork.

I love this shell and I'd like to see a painting of it someday. Keep up the good work.

Hi Kate!
Thank you so much for your kind comment, you're so generous :) Thanks to you I got to know Georgia O'Keefe's art, isnt' that great?
Hope you do more seashells, your drawings are unbelievable, I wish I could achieve a tenth of what you can do!
Best regards,
Carolina

Hi Dana!
Thank you for your kind comment! It is not difficult for me to work small, I think it's even more comfortable because I don't feel "well" leaving behind any detail, so it is not easy for me to paint larger dimensions (it's exhausting!)

Regarding the cards, you could complete a series of ACEOs and frame them together, as if they were small photos. I think they could even do well framed individually... that's what I'm planning to do sometime in the future with my shells ACEOs, they would go nice in the guests bathroom...

Thanks a lot again and best regards,
Carolina

Hola Paul!
You're so kind, thank you so much :)
I think I'll have to try some of these someday when I feel comfortable going 'larger'.
I had just checked your previous posts about your workshops, I wish I could attend to one!
Thanks again and best regards,
Carolina
