Botella que sale torcida ...

Botella de agua, pequeño perfumero y lápiz de labios/
Bottle of water, small perfume bottle and lipstick

As the bottle is bent...

Here is another sketch, done this time while waiting for my daughter to finish her ballet classes. I started with natural light from the left, and ended with artificial light from the middle and right. Oh well.

As I mentioned on the previos post (in the comments section), I'm starting to sketch in front of other people. Until now, I used to sketch alone in the car or in the waiting room completely alone. But I think I'm turning into an exhibitionist... good I turned into doing this and not on dancing on top of a table...

(And I'll tell you in advance of something that has excited me a lot... I won a giveaway on Milly's blog. I'm so happy!!! :)

Is this bottle bent because of your last bottle sketch? hmmmmmmm Then you're going to treat us with a table-top dance????? :-)

It's really cool that you're comfortable with your sketching that you can sketch with others nearby. And you do it so well.

Congrats on Milly's "prize", I like her work too.

Talk to you later,
Ken B.

PS If you DO dance on the tables, send me a photo so that I can make a painting!!!!! :-)

I like this composition and I like the way you have written around the edges like a frame. Lovely drawing Carolina :-)

Take care,
Paul

Hey, Ken!
You made me laugh!
Sketching in front of people (well, not a lot of people, and always the same people, though), is interesting. A little bit unconfortable, but I have found that the best thing to do is let them know what you're doing, so they, I don't know, feel different about you and you became accepted and not necessarily a spot to talk about. If that makes any sense...
But, the table dance thing, not gonna happen !!! :):):)
Thanks so much for stopping by and leave me your kind comments!
Best regards,
Carolina

Hi Paul!
Thank you so much :)
I like to write around the sketches, that makes me feel as if I was hiding or protecting them in a sort of little cave... but I don't do that always. Why? I'd like to know that as well...
Thanks a lot again and kind regards,
Carolina

Gracias nuevamente y Muchos saludos,
Carolina

Carolina!

This sketch is awesome!

Quite detailed! I love the composition and subject matter too!

The words wrapping around the border are the icing on the cake!

Oh, and I'm not quite at that point of letting others see me sketch. I still have to do it privately!

Carolina,
This sketch is fabulous. The words have a added dimension to your piece. Do more like this. Do a series of them like this. Also in this one you have some areas that you made darker ( maybe with an other pen ) it really brings out the contrast. Very nice.
Don't be concerned with people watching you, we all enjoy looking at someone drawing do not deny their pleasure.

Hi Dominique!
Thank you for being so kind with me :)
I'll try to follow your advise, can't promise anything though, time is so scarse lately...
You made me smile with your last remark... yes, let's give them what they want! :):):)
Best regards,
Carolina
